Reiki is a safe and gentle non-invasive healing technique used to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes and restore physical, emotional and spiritual balance & well-being

It is thought to have been practised for more than 2,500 years but was most recently rediscovered by Dr Mikao Usui in the early 20th century.

Einstein and other physicists concluded that everything existing in the universe is energy, shifting and vibrating at different rates, ultimately meaning that everything is, was, and always will be connected.

Reiki is simply a healing frequency of energy coming directly from source ( God/The Creator/The Universe/All that is). The healing effects of this energy can be channelled through a Reiki healer to connect with their client’s energy field. Reiki can only flow through those attuned to its unique vibrational frequency, and the attunement is passed energetically from the Reiki master to the Student during a sacred ceremony.

Your first treatment with me will include an introductory consultation, during which we will discuss the information you’ve provided on your new client form. I will answer any questions you may have before the treatment begins.

You’ll be asked to make yourself comfortable on the treatment table at the appropriate time. You will remain fully clothed, with the option of an additional lightweight blanket and weighted eye pillow to aid relaxation. Eternal Sunshine essential oil blends and healing 432hz ambient music, delivered in immersive surround sound, are also used to complement your treatment.

We will begin with a Chakra Balancing meditation where we will visualise the cleansing of each of the 7 Chakras. I will then spend the remaining time using my crystals and Reiki healing to move any residual negative energy stuck within the body.

The session will conclude with a short grounding meditation once you return to the chair.

The experience is unique to the individual. However, most patients recount feelings of deep relaxation and inner peace.

Some people report seeing a variety of colours and experiencing tingling sensations or eye fluttering. Some patients have told me that the pain from a physical condition felt like it was melting away as I moved around the body.

You may not feel anything out of the ordinary, which is also okay; the energy is still flowing.

The cleansing process following a Reiki treatment can affect people in different ways. Most people will come away feeling deeply relaxed with a lighter, more optimistic outlook.

However, it is not uncommon to experience mild headaches, and you may also notice repressed emotions beginning to resurface. This is all perfectly normal and is, in fact, a good thing, as it points to the release of toxins from all levels of your physical and metaphysical being.

It’s completely up to you! Some people try it only once, while others come regularly.

However, depending on your health concerns and the magnitude of the associated imbalances, I recommend a minimum of three treatments over a three-week period.

In time, following your healing, you will start to feel happier, less anxious & stressed, and full of positive energy!

For reference, most clients will continue their sessions as recommended, coming back once their course is complete for ongoing Reiki maintenance.
